Congratulations ….and Congratulations!
Two reasons to update to congratulate Lauren in this update…..
Recently Lauren sat her Grade 2 Music Theory exam and I am proud as punch to report that she scored an outstanding 93%!
Given that Lauren is undertaking 3 VCE subjects, preparing for Grade 5 Piano, doing valuable work experience as she transitions to life after secondary school…..it was a bit cheeky of me to also add Grade 2 theory to her already very full program.
But in typical Lauren fashion she took it all in her stead and after 15 months of preparing/studying she was finally “ready” to sit the exam. I had hoped for a grade of between 60-70%. Needless to say, we were delighted by 93!
So congratulations Lauren….another certificate for your music wall!
This is the photo I never dared imagine I would ever take when Lauren was told she would fail grade prep. But here she is in her Year 12 windcheater! These are the significant things that are not lost on us. Keep up the great work Lauren…..just one semester of secondary school to go. It has been a marathon but with half a lap to go, you are going to get there and we could not be prouder of you!
