Despite years of speech therapy Lauren’s quality use of her voice has never improved. No voice projection! No volume! This makes it near impossible for anyone to
with her. It was time to think left field! Because Lauren loves music in 2016 we enrolled Lauren into singing lessons with the lovely and talented Melissa Delfina from the Delfina school of Singing. In less than 12 months Lauren’s voice projection is considerably better. We still have some way to go but as this performance shows, singing has helped enormously in addressing an important communication goal….while having lots of fun!

The benefits of singing are beginning to become apparent to those of us working with Lauren on a day by day basis. She has the most beautiful voice and it is truly lovely to be able to hear her these days so much better. Still some way to go but a promising start in 2016!
