On Sunday, 12th August 2012, Lauren participated in Dressage to Music for the second time.
Just 4 days earlier my father, Lauren’s Nannu passed away rather suddenly so it was more emotional an experience than ever. As you can interpret from the fact that it has taken me over a month to get this “latest” update on the website, it has been a most difficult time for the family.
Still, here it is for all to see and enjoy. My gorgeous girl rode beautifully and wore a black arm band for her Nannu – he would have been proud! Lauren rode to the song ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – it seemed perfect for my beautiful daughter and Missy!
Thank you to all the wonderful supportive people who got up early on a Sunday morning to cheer Lauren on. Given the circumstances it was particularly valued.
Thank you to all at RDA Somerton for the opportunities they give Lauren to shine! You are all outstanding people who we cherish.
