Care Aware is a national communications initiative that aims to raise awareness, recognition, support and appreciation of the 2.6 million Australians who provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends.

PS Lauren did 2 hours of volunteer work tonight sorting LEGO for a LEGO enthusiast with more LEGO than you can imagine and needed it sorted! Lauren worked furiously and I was so proud of her ability to attend to the task for the whole 2 hours without any lapse in concentration or commitment. Woo Hoo! It was so cool. Lauren’s twin brother Matthew was doing a shift at Subway and with Lauren doing this valuable work….for a minute there I felt like a normal mum.
