18th Birthday..What? How did that happen? Not sure where the last 18 years have gone but I find myself the mother of 18 year old adults! OMG!
It was a day of extreme emotions. The joy of Lauren and Matthew turning 18 on one extreme with the sadness of my mother passing in the early hours of that morning on the other extreme made it an interesting day indeed. For Matthew and Lauren’s sake we went ahead with our plans and to their credit, they did well. It was great to have a small but memorable night to remember. Thanks to those who did what they did to support us through such an emotional day.
